Although the second faze is not part of THE~DDU app , but if the app was successful, it does make you think...Libs, Labor, Greens, Pauline & Palmer... we wouldn't need any of them....
WHY? HOW?
Let me Explain, It's not rocket science, Its basic logic..
SO... Lets just say THE~DDU concept was to be adopted into our political system, Monitored by THE-DDU system, our Ministers would surely be doing a great job, so why should a portfolio holder (minister) lose their job because the leader has lost the confidence of the Australian public to be our nations representative and leader?
It seems silly to take someone out of a position that is doing a great job in that sector... is respected & networked in that sector & also is accountable in that sector... (as monitored by the DDU concept)
Its practical common sense.. This extends into questioning the need for political parties at all..?
We could create a new wave of specialized professionals trained people for positions in Portfolios elevating to a Minister, one from each state reporting to our new National Cabinet, this cabinet has replaced our COAG (Council of Australian Gov) at the end of may 2020 for quicker decisions & less bureaucracy. This cabinet is who the citizens of Australia should be deciding to vote on, along with Voting from these members of National cabinet for the Prime ministers role.
Voting would still continue in states for electorate representatives & state leadership positions but ministerial positions with portfolios should be industry bred, Government bodies that report/advise to national cabinet & state leaders, with long term positions in Health, infrastructure/transport, foreign affairs etc...So they are networked and ensure projects that are directed by National cabinet stay on track, stay highly informed & stop the blame game! Ministers must be accountable. Stop wasting incredible amounts of $ on royal commissions & enquiries. Each state, every portfolio, should be an industry collective information point as well as managing & delivering designated budget allocations managed and directed by it's minister..
Our politically inspired youth could endeavor on a chosen political career, aiming to gain experience in that portfolio from the time enter political arena, Like the minister for health should be an accredited recognized health professional or Doctor.. not some young pup that was minister for parks and gardens last year.... This is most obvious when representing the bush, putting a young man in a suit, a city slicker.. out talking to Australia's back bone, our farmers.. they have no respect for a boy from the city knowing full well this person has no real understanding of the practical or mental management of a farm, just it's economics.
Covid 19 was a brilliant example of a minister having absolutely NO IDEA..
An national health emergency situation..
Who do you turn to for leadership and guidance?
The minister for health right?
Greg Hunt.... barely cleans his teeth let a lone know anything medical...!
so it was thrown to the CHEIF MEDICAL officer! For months we have learned to respect our information delivered by the chief medical officer simply because he's bloody QUALIFIED!
Do i have to go on? NO, I DONT. You see it clearly.
The minister for agriculture and farming should be a successful hardened man of the land. All Ministerial positions should be 10 years long minimum.. bringing the replacement minister in at the 8yr period as a deputy to learn the ropes, be introduced by the current minister to allow time for a smooth transition so long term projects, trust amongst the internal networking of that portfolio. People could then aim, train, for a certain position in government, a specialist in their field, & that's what sort of a background a representative minister should have.
