Australians can now see just how important having an experienced treasurer really is, like Josh Friedenburg was, we came out of the covid crisis the 4th best economy in the world. Now under the sheer guestimations of Jim Chalmers (labor treasurer) & Katy Gallagher (finance minister) inflation isn't being managed & our economy is wiping out the middle class. But what did you expect when PM Anthony Albanese, his selected treasurer & his selected finance minister had zilch, none, NO treasury or financial experience?
There is no arguing the "voice" really divided the people, even the indigenous couldn't agree or unite as showed in the results. This failed attempt to bridge the gap only opened old wounds & gauged a few more. A pointed argument from both sides has left the public angered & divided on this subject.
Australia is a multi cultural community now, providing a place of diverse cultures to mingle in safety... Some laws have gone too far, people in Australia must learn that all must respect each other and that no one culture is better than the other, A place of "refuge" or it was. Now with Israel & Palestine at full war, sanctions against Russia, Ukraine using NATO who are literally butting in on two countries that have nothing to do with NATO, Korea & Iran backing up & poor old China with the best peace keeping record of the lot getting their reputation smeared by the US who are building and enlarging bases all around Australia thanks to a disgusting deal made by the Morrison gov committing us to a 370 billion dollar deal in the creation of AUKUS. Making Australia a target. I personally think AUKUS may be the biggest mistake in Australia's history especially with the world currency heading for change in 2025 with the formation of BRICS, World tension is here on a major scale & we are holding hands with the biggest instigators of war being the US. We see violent protests almost weekly. In fact, since Anthony Albanese has been in power we have seen nearly every union go on strike for a better deal just to cope paying for essentials, An awful example that has led to even our school kids strike for climate change!
Jim Chalmers announcing record budget surplus while people live in tents, cars & on the street.. His mismanagement has led us all to pay hard, higher electricity, higher gas, higher petrol & rent, which has led to higher costs to essential foods, medical and services. 4 major banks, 2 major supermarkets, 3 major insurance companies have announced record profits increasing well over 120% each year since Labor was in power. Companies like Singtel- OPTUS, AGL, Telecom, Exxon Mobil, Shell, Quantas, Santos, just these companies alone amassing over $50 billion in income but didn't pay a cent in tax! Nothing... Only 1 in 3 major companies pay any income tax.. but they will chase the ABN window washer for $200.. That's got to offend every hard working Australian.
