Welcome, and thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to review THE-DDU.
So besides putting just about everything current and relevant about you, your portfolio, or the electorate you represent that is available via Australia’s own Privacy Act, along with your targets mentioned, promises made, project & performance reports, on time? On budget? Budget spending and deliverance—the usual—it will all be here on your profile page.
At your liberty, you will have the chance to log in just as every other Australian voter can. But as an MP, you will have special privileges in asking, informing, and creating.
WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO?
Well, why did you join politics in the first place?
As an electorate representative or senator, you have the final say before deciding what becomes law. Wouldn’t you want to be the best informed on every subject?
You will be able to ask questions about your electorate or a national concern.
Until you reach the top job or break into the national cabinet, we don’t need you making decisions for us without asking.
It’s like you all forgot the word “plebiscite.”
This is your opportunity to be recognised, build relationships, and become a familiar face among your electorate and to all Australian voters.
Who knows? You may appeal to the greater majority and advance your political future.
Ultimately, the people will decide.
This enables the whole of Australia to support genuine local causes that often slip through the cracks or take too long to process in Parliament.
THE-DDU platform will hold you accountable.
If you are engaging with your electorate, listening, and—better yet—delivering on what the people are telling you…
Your credibility will be on display for all to see.
Unless, of course, you are dodgy, doing things you know you shouldn’t, or just coasting along. Well… then you might have something to worry about.
Australians will notice:
WHO will that be?
WHO will they trust? WHO will they respect?
