mp ... What will the-ddu do for you?

Additional Information

Welcome, and thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to review THE-DDU.

So besides putting just about everything current and relevant about you, your portfolio, or the electorate you represent that is available via Australia’s own Privacy Act, along with your targets mentioned, promises made, project & performance reports, on time? On budget? Budget spending and deliverance—the usual—it will all be here on your profile page.

At your liberty, you will have the chance to log in just as every other Australian voter can. But as an MP, you will have special privileges in asking, informing, and creating.

WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO?

Well, why did you join politics in the first place?

As an electorate representative or senator, you have the final say before deciding what becomes law. Wouldn’t you want to be the best informed on every subject?

1. Like a monthly plebiscite, THE-DDU will give you the opportunity to ask Australia a question every month

You will be able to ask questions about your electorate or a national concern.

  • The results of your Yes/No or multiple-choice questions will be publicly available.
  • Demographic breakdowns will give you clear insights into what Australians truly think.
  • This will give you confidence that you are representing the people’s voice—because remember, that’s why you’re there.

Until you reach the top job or break into the national cabinet, we don’t need you making decisions for us without asking.

It’s like you all forgot the word “plebiscite.”

2. Your profile on THE-DDU platform will increase your reach

This is your opportunity to be recognised, build relationships, and become a familiar face among your electorate and to all Australian voters.

  • Establish trust.
  • Gain credibility.
  • Elevate your career.

Who knows? You may appeal to the greater majority and advance your political future.

Ultimately, the people will decide.

3. THE-DDU platform will allow you to create "money pits"

  • You can initiate fundraising for causes that matter—locally or nationally.
  • For example, you could raise money to relocate koalas after bushfires, fund urgent community projects, or support causes overlooked by the government.
  • These money pits will be funded by THE-DDU members who believe in your cause.

This enables the whole of Australia to support genuine local causes that often slip through the cracks or take too long to process in Parliament.

4. Help you keep your position

THE-DDU platform will hold you accountable.

If you are engaging with your electorate, listening, and—better yet—delivering on what the people are telling you…

Your credibility will be on display for all to see.

Unless, of course, you are dodgy, doing things you know you shouldn’t, or just coasting along. Well… then you might have something to worry about.

5. Not one of the “in” crew?

  • Dodge the corporate ladder and political bullying.
  • Catapult your political career to national recognition by asking the questions that matter.
  • Gain the respect of the Australian public.

Australians will notice:

  • WHO is asking the important questions
  • WHO truly has the best interests of our children, our country, and its original custodians at heart
  • WHO is standing up for farmers and the multicultural population proud to call themselves Australian

WHO will that be?

WHO will they trust? WHO will they respect?
