THE-DDU concept doesn't claim to be a magic wand & suddenly fix our political system, but it will tidy politics up somewhat giving us more time to concentrate on what really matters, The serious issues & concerns that are side lined by the bickering, slander & accusations costing us the tax payer time & money.
So what are these three points that THE-DDU will claim to address?
- RELIABLE REAL TIME DATA. The data collected by THE-DDU will be far more accurate, with demographic detail as well as being cost effective & in real time than all statistic gathering private or foreign owned advisory companies currently supplying this information collectively. literally saving millions of dollars.
- RE-ENGAGE & EDUCATE THE VOTERS
People have completely disengaged, sheerly out of frustration and interest, lack of knowledge will often lead to ignorance, THE-DDU will provide links to general practices and the fundamentals of our governing system. eg. current policies, history general amendments. THE-DDU will always try present updates, news, information in the easiest form of english in laymen terms, being a culturally mixed society our website will be language transferable. THE-DDU will re-engage the voters by giving them a voice to express their view and compare, to know what the rest of Australia is thinking also, After answering a question from one of our MPs, it's a little like a test... you want to know the answers, you want to see how your answer compared to the rest of Australia's answers.

3. ACCOUNTABILITY Something we all demanding and deserve. Australian's have put up with some pretty scandalous behaviour since day dot. Most sports and industries have tightened their belts on the blame game making sportsmen and workers alike sign off on rules regulations & obligations pinning them with accountability, THE-DDU will shine a light so bright on our representatives operations that the rats will run back to the darkness of the gutter where they belong. Donations,,,, wouldn't you like to see just how much money is "Donated" & by who? The records of these donations should be open to the public, pretty simple, WHO FROM, HOW MUCH, WHO TO... Then it would be clear to the public who are the big influences and giving us foresight to see their intentions, exactly why you don't see it now. Politics isn't a game, responsibility must be taken for good or bad decisions. THE-DDU can make the difference in providing our decision makers with the information they need for better choices.
